There is nothing I love more than a bargain. Well, that's not strictly true; I love a lot of things more than I love a bargain, but for the sake of this post, let's just go with the first statement and stop making these wild accusations shall we?
Anyway, at the moment my favourite place to go when I’ve only got pennies to spend (and that’s pretty much all the time – student life being as it is) is New Look. I don’t remember it being so good; I’m sure it used to be the sort of shop you’d go to if you just needed something plain that didn’t really matter where it was from, like a white tee-shirt or some socks. Now though, it appears to be catching up with the other leading high street stores, I’m even starting to prefer it over H&M and that is a VERY big deal as H&M was my paradise.
I bought the cutest pair of navy blue Mary Jane’s over Christmas, I adore them and I’ve had so many comments from people – not bad for a measley £20! And I’ve just discovered the massive store in Coventry, which has the most incredible shoe department – it’s HUGE! While I was there, I bought a pair of black footless tights and a knitted orange beanie which was £1.50 in the sale – what more could one ask for?
